Product description

This is a Kingdom sinking minnow jerkbait, a hard-bodied wobbler style lure built for sea bass fishing. It ships in three sizes: 70mm at 7.5g, 90mm at 14g, and 110mm at 18g, and is available in seven color patterns (04, 05, 07, 06, 03, 01, 02).

As a sinking minnow, it drops through the water column rather than floating, so you can count it down to the depth you want before starting your retrieve. Its jerkbait profile is meant to be worked with rod twitches and pauses to imitate a baitfish, then let sink again on the pause.

How to fish it

  1. Cast out and count the lure down to let it sink to your target depth before retrieving.
  2. Work it with short, sharp rod twitches followed by a pause to let it sink again between jerks.
  3. Vary the length of the pause since strikes often come as the bait is sinking on slack line.
  4. Try the smaller 70mm size in calmer water and the 110mm size when you need more casting distance or a bigger profile.
