Glide baits shine during pre-spawn and fall when bass are feeding on large baitfish, and they're deadly around main lake points, flats, and suspended over deep structure where a slow, horizontal presentation keeps the bait in the strike zone longer. They also produce well at night or in low light when big bass roam open water hunting for an easy meal.

Glide baits perform best in clear to moderately stained water where bass can visually track the subtle side-to-side action, and they're most effective in water temperatures between 50 and 70 degrees when big bass are actively chasing baitfish. Calm to slightly windy conditions work well since too much chop can mask the glide action that triggers strikes.
