Product description

This is a floating topwater pencil lure from Kingdom, built for GT (giant trevally) and other saltwater sea fishing. It ships in two sizes, 180mm at 78g and 200mm at 115g, and comes in four color options. It is a hard bait with no lip, designed to stay on the surface.

Being a floating pencil, it is worked with a walk-the-dog style retrieve, rod tip snapped side to side to make the bait zigzag across the surface. It sits high and floating between snaps, which lets you pause it over structure or in front of feeding fish before working it again.

How to fish it

  1. Use a side-to-side rod tip snap to walk the pencil across the surface.
  2. Pause between snap sequences so the bait sits still and floating, then start again.
  3. Match retrieve speed and cadence to how aggressively fish are feeding on top.
  4. Work it along current edges, drop-offs, or bait showers where GT and other predators feed on the surface.
