Product description

This is a Hunthouse egi-style squid jig, a hard bait pencil lure built for saltwater squid, cuttlefish, and octopus. It measures 110mm and weighs 22g, with a sinking profile and a luminous finish that glows after exposure to light.

Cast it out and let it sink to the target depth, then work it with sharp jerks and pauses so the pencil shape darts and flutters like an injured baitfish or shrimp. The luminous body helps draw strikes in low light or deeper water. Available in six colors, all in the same 110mm/22g size.

How to fish it

  1. Cast out and let the lure sink to your target depth before starting the retrieve.
  2. Use sharp upward jerks of the rod tip to make the pencil dart, then pause to let it fall and flutter.
  3. Fish it near structure or over sand and rock bottoms where squid and cuttlefish hold.
  4. Work it after dark or in murky water to make use of the luminous finish.

It is a sinking lure, so it drops through the water column after casting.

It comes in one size, 110mm/22g, and six color options (001 through 006).

No, it is a hard bait pencil-style egi squid jig, not a soft plastic.
